Jim Wyckoff

I’ve been a blacksmith-artist since the early 1980s. I began by demonstrating blacksmith techniques in historic Millbrook Village in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, while working for the National Park Service. After 11 years I opened my own blacksmith shop in Shawnee, PA, and sold my work at juried fine art and craft shows. Some of my pieces are for sale at the Shawnee Gallery in PA and at the Peter’s Valley Store in NJ. I’ve taught at Peters Valley Crafts School and the New England School of Metal Work. I am a juried member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen, and I received the Sterling Strauser award at the 2004 Delaware Water Gap Celebration of the Arts festival. I specialize in custom-made pieces – everything from sculpture, railings, fire place screens and tools, garden and driveway gates to kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Please take a look at examples of my work on this web site. Feel free to contact me, to discuss designs, materials and prices.
